Melinda Dalke
I am a Naive Folk artist. I live in Lebanon, Oregon. I share my life with 4 beautiful cats, 2 incredible dogs and a wonderful husband. I am originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1993, I graduated from the Community College of Southern Nevada with an Associates Degree in Graphic Arts.
I like to approach each painting differently, some call my art Naive Folk other Impressionism. I enjoy all types of mediums: watercolor, acrylic, ink, mixed media, pastel and colored pencil-my favorite being watercolor on Yupo paper. I love to bring a bit of my personality to all of my art. My main subject is animals, which are a huge part of my life. I participate in regional art shows. I donate to animal rescues and charities on a regular basis.
